SurrOUND Application
SurrOUND is a Bluetooth based application that connects you with the SurrOUND speakers, as well as other Bluetooth enabled devices.
In this fast paced world that we live in, we always to be able to quickly access information while on the go. SurrOUND allows you to do just that. Whether you need your music, need to search something, or want voice controls for convenience, it's all right here.
Because we are always on the go, this app has been streamlined to connect to your speaker(s) with ease and puts the most of your content within a few taps (or a simple voice search) away.
Iconography and typography is important as you want to keep things easy to understand, and make sure the users will know exactly what will happen with each press of the buttons. The icons are minimalistic, flat, and very straight forward. The typography is Roboto, which is Google's standard font. This makes everything very easy to understand and familiar.
The user interface has been designed to meet the standard Android Material Design. This makes it easy for both users who are familiar with the interface to navigate, as well as those who may be new to the Android platform.
The final result took the foundation of the initial designs, but improved with some additional elements to streamline the overall app experience for the users. Most notably is the floating action button that brings you straight to the voice screen.
